The Swindler
A raider who takes advantage of others to survive. Maybe even murder. Every story needs a villain[h]. Finds themselves at the club... Pure intentions? Not sure!
Sledgehog
::Tech-Head::
He is (or was, before the collapse), titled: A Lord perhaps?
Sledgehog wants to do good, wants to please. Helping important people in particular makes him feel important.
Masha
::Tech-Head::
Masha doesn't talk about her life before The Event very much. She was visiting SF from Ukraine when the bombs fell. Since then, she has been instrumental in helping the Tech-Heads achieve their goals through her efforts to secure tech and electricity which are rarer these days.
Eloise "Eli" Graves
::Tech-Head::
"Before the bombs fell, I was known as Eloise, a low-level accountant who thrived on routine and numbers. The apocalypse forced me to adapt, and now l go by Eli, navigating this harsh new world with caution.
"I'm naturally jittery and tend to overthink every situation, always double-checking and second-guessing deals. While I may not be the bravest, my quick thinking and knack for reading people help me survive. I prefer to avoid combat, relying on negotiation and scavenging, but if cornered, I'll use traps and misdirection to escape."
Dinki-Di
::Radlander::
Runs the trading post where Radlanders and Tech-Heads trade: Dinki-Di's Trading Post and his bar:He is usually serving behind the bar, chatting with traders and creating a welcoming atmosphere. He considers many people of both aesthetics to be good friends or even family. Most people know you don't disrespect him. If you start problems with anyone, he'll bounce you faster than you know what hit you."
The DJs
Forced Hand
::Tech-Head::
A man who wears a skeleton outfit, proclaiming: He wears bones because he was supposed to have it all, and this world stripped everything from him; his love, his career, his family, his friends, his life (once)… and yet, he is still here.
Goblyn
::Radlander::
Goblyn is a little bit crazy. On a bizarre quest to explain it all with one perfect song which will reveal the truth. Does what he has to do to get by.
Midnight
::Tech-Head::
Before the event, Midnight was intimately familiar with the night shift world—a security guard who found solace in the quiet hours when others slept. While most feared the darkness, they thrived in it, developing an almost supernatural ability to navigate and find comfort in shadows.
When nuclear winter fell and perpetual darkness became humanity's new reality, Midnight didn't just adapt—they became essential. What others saw as an endless, terrifying night, Midnight recognized as humanity's new sanctuary.
Voodoo
::Radlander::
Voodoo hails from Los Angeles, where he was a DJ and promoter, and had recently become active on Youtube, freelance reporting on government corruption and right wing extremism. Voodoo happened to be in San Francisco for a gig on the day the bombs dropped, so he survived, but he lost everything from his former life in LA — his home, his club ,his studio, his partner, family and friends — everything was (presumed) destroyed by the bombs that hit LA.
Voodoos is trying to make peace with his feelings of grief and anger over what he lost in LA, and move on with his life, but some day are better than others. He's trying to build a new life in our community. He continues to work as a DJ and a freelance reporter, as well as scavenging in the Radlands for anything of value he can use for barter in the city.
Sometimes he dreams of making the trek to LA in hopes of reuniting with his loved ones, but deep down he knows this is a fool's errand, as there is little chance there is anything or anyone left for him in LA, and there is a good chance he wouldn't survive the journey.
